Pickleball Sessions — Privacy Steelyard Ventures LLC · Updated October 13, 2026
Your session stays on your device
This offline beta stores the session title, player names and attendance, courts, assignments, sit-outs, dates, optional final scores, completed round history and recent setup undo steps in the app's private storage. It does not send this information to Steelyard or a server. No account, hosted invitations, cloud synchronization, advertising, analytics SDK, purchase or subscription is active in this version.
The app does not request contacts, camera, microphone, photo-library, location or tracking permission. The experimental local invitation service used during development is unavailable in this phone beta; it is not a remotely reachable service or an account system.
Saving and deletion
The app keeps one ongoing session and preserves completed history. The session directory is excluded from automatic device backup. There is no full-session export, restore, library or reset feature in this beta. Deleting the app can remove your session permanently; offloading can retain app data. Keep a separate record of important results before deleting or changing devices. The app refuses to silently replace unreadable saved data with an empty session.
Steelyard cannot recover or delete device-only records remotely. Removing local data is not a promise of secure erasure, and it does not remove any copies that you previously shared.
Sharing you choose
Share this round opens Apple's system share sheet with the session title, player names, teams, sit-outs and any saved final scores for that round. Nothing is sent automatically. Review the content and destination before sharing, and use names you have permission to share. The receiving app, person or service controls its copy under its own practices. Sharing a round is not a full-session backup and cannot restore the app's history.
Support
Email help@steelyardventures.com for help or privacy requests. We receive the address, message and attachments you choose to send and use them to respond and investigate. Support correspondence is separate from local app data; no fixed automatic retention period is promised. You can request deletion of correspondence at the same address. Uninstalling the app does not delete messages already sent to us. Do not send passwords, payment details, identity documents or unnecessary private roster data. Device model, iOS version, app build and reproducible steps are normally enough to start.
TestFlight
TestFlight automatically collects crash logs and usage data for Apple and the developer; testers cannot opt out of this beta-testing data collection. You may separately submit feedback or screenshots. Reports can contain device identifiers and personal information. This is separate from the app’s offline session storage. Avoid private names in feedback screenshots. Leaving a beta does not erase reports already submitted. Request deletion of developer-held correspondence or feedback at the support address; Apple handles its own records. Apple's TestFlight terms describe its service: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/testflight/sren/terms.html
Changes
This policy describes the offline beta. Before adding hosted invitations, accounts or any new data processing, the app's disclosures and this policy must be updated to describe the actual version. A future feature is not active merely because it has been researched or tested in a local development environment.
